Richard Albert and Michael Norton have a combined eighty years of experience in the real estate industry. In late 2010, after teaming with prestigious Sotheby’s International Realty, this powerful duo founded North Country Sotheby’s International Realty and opened offices in Chappaqua and Croton on Hudson, NY.

For the last 55+ years, Richard Albert has been a successful Real Estate Broker, Owner and Developer in the extremely competitive market of the Lower Hudson Valley area of New York. This work has extended beyond serving the brokerage needs of the real estate community to successfully developing all types of residential housing projects, and commercial projects as well, in and around our area. In 1997, former New York State Governor George Pataki, appointed Richard to serve on the New York State Real Estate Board, only one of four brokers to be so honored. His extensive community involvement is well known and includes thousands of dollars in yearly scholarships to our local high schools.

Michael started in the real estate industry 20 years ago after deciding to relocate to Westchester County, New York. His career has truly evolved from his start as a licensed salesperson in early 1992 to his current position as an owner of North Country Sotheby’s International Realty. Over his career, Michael has managed numerous real estate projects and currently manages over 50,000 square feet of office and retail space. Michael is also a licensed and practicing New York State attorney since 2001, with his own firm that primarily handles all aspects of real estate acquisitions and sales.
